We are proud to celebrate Lorena Gonzalez-Fletcher, the first Latina, first woman, and first person of color to lead as Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the California Labor Federation, AFL-CIO. 💐 👏 👏 👏

Her progressive legislation paved the way for worker protections that include the protection of janitorial workers against sexual assault and professional cheerleaders under basic labor laws, both of which became national PBS documentaries. 📼

Her dedication to our movement continues to uplift workers and provide inclusive economic justice for all. ✊
