Right now, our Necco Foster Care team in London is facing a heartbreaking reality…

We do not have enough open beds to meet the needs of children coming into care.

That means there are children—right here in our community—who need a safe, stable, and loving home, and we are being forced to say no simply because we don’t have a family available.

💔 No child should have to wait for a place to feel safe.

We know many of our current foster families are already giving so much—and we are incredibly grateful for you. But we need your help again.

Necco is proud to partner with Saint Joseph Hospital for a Preventing Child Abuse awareness event.

Foster care plays a critical role in preventing child abuse by providing children with a safe, stable, and supportive environment when they are unable to remain in their homes. Foster parents offer not only protection, but also consistency, guidance, and compassion helping children begin to heal and build a stronger future.

Today was a special day for NECCO London!

We were honored to celebrate our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and officially welcome NECCO London to the community! A heartfelt thank you to the Laurel County Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a beautiful ceremony and helping make this day so meaningful.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make today a success and to all of the community members who came out to show their support. Your encouragement and presence mean so much as we continue working to serve youth and families in our region.

We are excited to announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of NECCO London on April 9, 2026!

This special event will not only celebrate the opening of our London office, but also NECCO’s 30-year anniversary of serving children and families. For three decades, NECCO has remained committed to strengthening families, supporting foster parents, and creating brighter futures for youth in our communities.

The celebration will begin with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 2:00 PM, where guests will have the opportunity to meet the NECCO team and connect with community partners while enjoying finger foods and refreshments. Family raffle baskets will also be drawn during the event. Later in the evening, we will continue the celebration with a Grand Opening Dinner at 5:30 PM. We invite our community, partners, and supporters to join us at 725 S. Main Street, London, KY as we celebrate this exciting milestone and look ahead to continuing our mission for many years to come.
