Thunderbase is THE largest party in the area for all Scouts, Scouters, and their families! The party starts Friday night with a OA call outs, then kicks off Saturday morning with a Fun Run, Patriotic opening, and the start of our blood drive. Unparalleled experiences offered all day Saturday:
Scout Skills,
Inflatables,
STEM activities,
Shooting Activities,
and more than you can ever do in one day!
THUNDERBASE 2018 is open to everyone. There will be activities for kids of all ages including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, Sea Scouts, and Explorers. The event is open to the public so Scouts are encouraged to invite their friends to attend. Camping is open to all Scout units (BSA Guidelines must be followed).
Following the concert, Saturday night will close with an amazing fireworks show! On Sunday morning, join us for religious services (a Catholic Mass and a non-denominational service will be available) and the world’s largest park clean-up.
We also have new food vendors, fewer lines, and more options. A complete list of food and pricing will be available soon. Vendors will be available Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast.
The entire staff for THUNDERBASE 2018 would like to share with you just some of the adventures and activities that will be available to every Scout and Scouter in The Simon Kenton Council and beyond!
