This evening a contained fire occurred on the roof at the Lock Haven Hospital campus.
The situation was quickly identified and safely contained, and at no time were resident, staff or visitors in danger.

During this time there is no interruption in services at Haven Place or Lock Haven, and everyone's safety remains our top priority. Please note that while we are working to notify families our phone lines are busy, but please be assured everyone is safe.

We are grateful for the swift response of emergency personnel, facility teams, and the staff who acted quickly to ensure the safety and continuity of care for everyone on campus.

We will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available.

This year’s celebration at Haven Place was one to remember as we rolled from National Nurses Week right into National Skilled Nursing Care Week with grateful hearts and busy halls.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible nurses for the compassion, commitment, and strength they show every single day to our residents and their families. Your dedication creates comfort, dignity, healing, and home for those we serve, and we are endlessly thankful for the care you provide.

The past two weeks were filled with laughter, teamwork, appreciation, and plenty of fun. Staff enjoyed a variety of special activities and treats, with favorites including our loaded baked potato bar, cash cube, and the refreshing juice & mocktail bar stealing the spotlight. One of the most meaningful moments was our beautiful “Build Your Own Bouquet” flower bar — a reminder that just like flowers, growth happens when care, kindness, and community come together.

As we celebrate another successful year, we look forward to continuing to bloom into our full potential together. Thank you to every member of our team for making our facility a place where compassion thrives. Here’s to another year of growth, excellence, and making a difference every day. 🌸🌻
