Here at ASD we have the opportunity to connect with wonderful partners across Arkansas! 🤝

Providence Park is a 50-acre community that is providing housing and support to those coming out of chronic homelessness.
The neighbors of Providence Park learned about the fundamentals of budgeting and as well had the opportunity to create their own budgets. 📝

ASD looks forward to being apart of the neighbors financial empowerment and success!

Over 100 plus rising 9th graders gathered on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas yesterday and our Investor Ed team had the opportunity to speak to students about important financial basics!💰💸

From learning about job readiness, managing money from a young age, what is a stock, and learning to save early on in life.
We were able to share with these rising 9th graders important financial knowledge that will equip them for life!

Ms. Duncan's Accounting II students and others across campus have participated in the stock market game this semester. We are 📈 Growing Future Wildcat Investors! 🐾
El Dorado High School is bringing the stock market to life! Thanks to support from the Arkansas Securities Department and additional funding from our district, EHS has installed a large stock ticker in our cafeteria/commons area with real time stock data—reaching all 1,300 students during every lunch shift.

From real-time market updates to hands-on learning, our students are building financial literacy skills that will last a lifetime. This spring, student teams took on the Stock Market Game, gaining valuable experience in investing, decision-making, and economic awareness—and we’re just getting started!

Conversations about stocks, markets, and money are happening daily across campus. Next year, we’re excited to expand and get even more students involved!

Huge thank you to our partners that made this project happen with a grant written by Mrs. Jackie Phillips, CTE Lead Teacher from the Arkansas Securities Department, ESD district support and to our students for embracing this opportunity.

Together, we are “Growing Future Wildcat Investors!”
