As part of the previously announced 2026 quarterly schedule, there will be a RCRAD Board regular meeting on Monday, 27 July 7 pm in the training room of First Medic Ambulance, 1100 Oak Street, Lisbon ND. The final agenda for all regular meetings is unrestricted and set at the beginning of each meeting. Regular meeting agenda includes financial review, ambulance service report, old and new business. The agenda this month will also include the 2027 Preliminary Budget.

Notice of our Annual Meeting:
“The annual meeting of the Ransom County Rural Ambulance District will be held Monday, 23 March 7 pm at the training room of First Medic Ambulance, 1100 Oak Street, Lisbon ND. This meeting is to elect two board members, elect officers, review prior year financial report, and prior year ambulance service report.”

Remaining 2026 Regular Meeting Schedule:
Dates are quarterly on the 4th Monday. 27 April, 27 July and 26 October. All meetings are planned for 7 pm at the training room of First Medic Ambulance, 1100 Oak Street, Lisbon ND.

Know when to call 911 📱🚑

In the last 12 months CHI Lisbon Health has seen 113 patients in the Emergency Department experiencing chest pain. Only 17.7% of those patients arrived via ambulance. Additionally, only 22% of patients experiencing a Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) arrived via ambulance.

If you are having chest pain, CALL 911!

Many life saving measures can be preformed while on the way to the hospital to assist in treatment and increase positive outcomes!

Already in the car? Call 911! We can meet you on the side of the road! When in doubt call 911 and we will be there for you!

The Thrill Hills Ski Patrol in Fort Ransom is looking for volunteers for this winter. They offer some great benefits to their volunteers including free family passes and equipment rentals.

The board would like to thank the members of the community who came out to vote today for the special election to establish a mill levy for the district.

Preliminary Results:
257 votes cast
179 YES votes
78 NO votes

The certification of election hearing will be on 09 September 2025 at 5:45pm held in the Training Room of First Medic Ambulance.

The Ransom County Rural Ambulance District is seeking to establish a levy of up to 8 mills, which is approximately $350,000 per year. The special election will be held on August 27th 2025.
