Collection, Sorting and Distribution of Donations

Donations will be collected and taken daily to a centralized collection facility - as of 11/18, no facility has been selected for this. PGgives will need access to a secured facility 24x7 to drop off donations. During the PG Thanksgiving Food Drive, advertising will be available at the donation boxes with organizational information, supporting organizational logos, and recommended thanksgiving related food donations. The goal will be to put together all the items that a family would need for a thanksgiving dinner (minus perishables). At this time we don't anticipate the ability to take perishable items, but if a local organization has refrigeration storage space, PGgives will advertise this facility/organization and open up donations to include perishable items. If your organization, or one you know, has a large capacity to accept and store perishable items and can donate this resource, please contact us immediately. Starting on November 26th, donations to families who have been nominated by the community and selected by the donation committee will begin and donations will be delivered through Thanksgiving Day. Communicating with PGgives

All family nominations should be sent as a private message through the PGgives page. If you would like to volunteer time on location with the donation boxes, please also send us a message with the hours that you are willing to be onsite. For corporate or organizational support communication, please call us to arrange for donation box delivery and or donation collection. PGgives Contacts
