It should be someone who can speak knowledgeably at meetings, run the meetings efficiently and legally, and act with appropriate decorum when doing so. Some may suit this role more than others, when considering past behavior.

Friendly reminder that tomorrow night at 6:30 pm in the Logan County courthouse is the Special Meeting where the board will vote on a new Chair and Vice Chair.

Am I registered to vote? What district am I in? Who is even on my ballot? We elect the coroner??

How many times have you ended up at the voting booth and realized you had no idea who half the people on your ballot even were? Feel prepared and Know Your Vote this year! We'll be at the public libraries in Lincoln, Mount Pulaski, and Atlanta to help you:

- Check your voter registration status
- Register to vote if needed
- Identify your districts
- Learn who all will appear on your ballot this fall

AND there will be complimentary snacks from local businesses!

This is a community driven, bipartisan event. No matter who you want to vote for, we want you to feel confident when you go to the booth. While we will have candidates and local figures volunteering at these events, the goal is education and engagement, not campaigning (if you're on the ballot this fall or currently serving in our local governments we'd love to see you there - please message me to coordinate!).

The petition will be out at the fair this evening, as will I! Please say hi if you see me!

You'll either find me getting a We Three Sweets shake up or the Democrat table in the vendor space has been kind enough to share space with me since an Independent table would be pretty lonely 😅 the Republicans also have a great set up right across the way so you can meet folks and feel informed no matter your views!

Still haven't gotten the chance to sign the Data Center Opposition Petition? We'll be at the Logan County Fair this week with several more opportunities!
You can find Rachel at the Logan County Democrats table, but remember this is a COMMUNITY issue, not partisan!
