The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office has been participating in this summer camp for years. It is always a wonderful opportunity for young people to see patrol vehicles, K9’s, robots, drones, equipment and the bearcat vehicle. Everyone had a great time!

Showing up for County Meetings isn't about 'sunshining' for the Commissioners. It's hearing about concerns and being able provide clarity without hesitation. Today's tour with the County's Leadership was important for all involved.

Training resources right here at home will ensure we are at our very best in the field. 🙌🏼

As Chief Brian Heath said this morning, "You're only as good as your last training exercise." Staff training and development is a core priority for me as Sheriff. This facility means I will not always have to ask our people to travel out of this County for training.

Showing up to support our friends with the Special Olympics NC was a lot of fun Thursday morning! 👏🏼

I appreciate the deputies stepping out of their normal routine to have some fun and cheer on these students for Opening Ceremony. The North Carolina Special Olympics is supported by numerous agencies across Harnett County. Events like the Torch Runs, Cop on Top, Tip a Cop, and more raise funds to support this hard-working organization. If you see a local Special Olympics fundraiser in your area, be sure to show them your support.
