The deadline is fast approaching to get your student's ad in the upcoming football program. It's open to EVERYONE, not just those students involved in football, cheerleading, band, prancers, etc. They will design the ad for you (at no additional charge) if you get your order in by July 15.

(Proceeds benefit Liberty ATHLETIC Booster Club and not Band Boosters but we proudly support each other. All questions, payments, etc. are to be directed to them. Info is on the flyer.)

At our school board meeting last night, Softball Head Coach and new LHS Principal Karen Slack and Assistant Coaches Joe Slack and Katherine McAdams, presented the board members State Champion UIL medals in appreciation for the District's support of our Lady Panthers on their run to become the first and only team to win two Texas State UIL Softball Championships. Coach Slack also said they received many compliments from other districts about how our community supporters/fans conducted themselves at all the games and tournaments. You all represented LISD well and should be very proud of that. It's true when they say it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game...but winning is so much more fun! Thanks again, ladies!
