Christina French Lakota Board of Education The last 14 years of my career have been focused on leading staff, students, parents and building a community focused on academics and strong relationships.

It includes a well rounded leadership profile that includes school leadership, curriculum and instruction development, directorship and classroom teaching. The awards along the way in each of these areas, including the Golden Apple Award, Momentum Award and Community Partnership Awards are representative of my passion and dedication to public school instruction and leadership. I have chosen to con

tinue my career in the field of school leadership as I feel that is where I am most influential and devoted. My husband Andy and I are the proud parents of four daughters. Our oldest daughters are Lakota graduates (‘19 and ‘20) and our youngest are current students in the district. We love living in this community and are blessed to be able to give back to the place that has provided us with so much. I believe that EVERY student in our district should have the opportuity to reach their highest potential.

This is the first time I have had the privilege of attending this event and it was truly incredible. The smiles on the faces of our newest United States of America citizens will stick with me for a long time. This has been one of the most meaningful events I have attended to date. Last night’s Light Up Lakota event was a huge hit! As I walked from table to table, I was greeted with animal defense projects, the art of macron making, eclipse experts, a tiny coffee, electric bananas and so much more!!
