As we get ready for 2024 with our ticket of Peter Sonski and Lauren Onak, we need to start preparing to gather enough signatures to get them on the ballot in the Commonwealth. The first step to do that is to identify 8 electors willing to have their names on the petition. Must be a registered Kentucky voter. While we cannot begin to collect signatures until after this fall’s statewide races, we can begin to organize to collect the needed 5,000 valid signatures, which means we need to target collecting about 8,000. Who is willing to be an elector?

Peter Sonski of Connecticut won the election for American Solidarity Part Presidential candidate in the first round with 52% of the vote and the remaining 48% being split between 4 candidates. There was no need for a 2nd round of rank choice voting. The Delegates‘ Convention which will be held June 23rd - June 25th will finalize an update to our Party Platform and select a Vice Presidential candidate.

While I’m disappointed that I (Craig Bohman) was not selected as one of the 5 delegates from the Upper South (KY, WV, TN, NC, & VA), I have full confidence in Sarah Bourge (TN), Robert Brent, Patrick Harris (TN), Charlie Jenkins (NC), and Albert Thompson Jr. (VA) to represent us well. Please reach out to them with any issues or concerns you want the convention delegates to pick up and fight for us for.

I’ll have more info in a bit. Peace!

According to Shane Hoffman, who is running the ASP election through OpaVote, only 25% to 33% of eligible Solidarity Party members have voted so far for our Presidential nominee and regional delegates. Check your spam/junk folder in case your ballot went there. This is an important election for the ASP because an updated platform is being considered and the delegates will select a VP to run with our Presidential nominee selected by ASP voters. There are plenty of YouTube videos of the 4 debates and individual interviews, as well as links in Facebook groups that discuss the issues at hand. If you need information on any of these, please let me know.

If you are one of the 17 dues paying members you should have received your ballot for President and delegates. Please take the time to vote. There are not many of us in KY. Every vote counts. Don't be left out.

The American “two-party” system is a lie. The Democrats and Republicans tell you that you have to vote for for one of them in order for your vote to “count”. It simply isn’t true. Our votes count regardless who we vote for. Yes, we currently have a “first-past-the-post” winner take all system, even if that person receives a minority of the votes. Keep in mind that a candidate who “wins“ with less than 50% of the vote may get the seat, but can’t claim the voters’ mandate. This is why voting for the candidate who you think represents you best is so important.

If everyone voted for the candidate they thought was the best, instead of picking between the lesser of two evils from the main parties, that person would win!
All we need is the courage as voters to ignore what the two main parties tell us and vote our conscience

Hello. My name is Craig Bohman and I’ve agreed to serve as the Kentucky Coordinator for the ASP. I live in Northern Kentucky and I’m new to social media so please bare with me.

Our most pressing issue is to support and pass Amendment 2 which is on the ballot this fall. It will allow the General Assembly to set abortion policy instead of the courts. The General Assembly has banned abortion in the Commonwealth except to save the life of the mother. Please tell everyone to vote Yes on Amendment 2, Yes for Life. After the result in Kansas, we cannot take this vote for granted.

The results are in for yesterday’s majority party primaries.
