WE ARE HIRING
The Wayne County Conservation District has an opening for a Program Support Assistant. This is an administrative and technical support position generally under the supervision of the District Conservationist, Supervisor District Conservationist. The position is responsible for processing and maintenance of records related to NRCS conservation programs. A detailed job description and application can be picked up at the Conservation Offices Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30. Deadline to submit application for employment is Wednesday June 24, 2026. The Ky Division of Forestry has free Pin Oak, Northern Red Oak and Shumard Oak saplings available. Trees can be picked up in the USDA parking lot behind building Monday (4-27) beginning at 11 AM until they are gone
