A huge thank you to everyone who partnered with the Lafayette County Commission to make our annual Community Clean-Up Day a success!

We are especially grateful for the support of the City of Odessa, Big Brother Big Sister of Johnson County, and the West Central Missouri Solid Waste Management District F.

Because of the hard work of 15 dedicated volunteers, including Presiding Commissioner Harold Hoflander and Southern Commissioner Michael Brown, and outstanding participation from county residents, we served 231 vehicles and collected:

303 tires

18.83 tons of metal

3.2 tons of textiles

16 tons of Community Swap Items
.and that doesn't even include the total amount of E-Scrap!

Events like this show what can be accomplished when communities come together with a shared goal of keeping Lafayette County clean and safe. Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and resident who helped make a positive impact! 🌎❤️🌎
