Olentangy Lions Club

Now that the college football playoffs are finished, The Olentangy Lions Club would like to invite you to participate in our 2025 March Madness fund raiser. No basketball skill or knowledge requited.

The game is the same as in previous years. Your $20 buys a square on a 10 X 10 grid. Names will be added to the grid at random. Numbers will be added to the grid so that each square has a winner and loser value from 0 to 9. The number combination for each square you purchase will be emailed to you prior to the start of the tournament. If your winner/loser combination matches the final score of the game, you are the winner for that game.

Games pay between $10 and $250 depending on the round. Play-in games are not included. Game starts on Thursday with the round of 64. Winners will be announced by E-mailed after each round is complete. There is no limit on the number of times you can win. There is no limit on the number of squares you can purchase. Please pass along to anyone else that might like to play.

Last month, the Olentangy Lions Club welcomed over 1,000 teachers at the Olentangy Local Schools Convocation event. It was wonderful speaking to educators and administrators about the Lions Club mission. We also collected over 100 pairs of glasses! We want to thank Lion Julie for sharing information about our booth to the OLSD employees. Also, a big Thank you to Lion Bob, Lion Ram, Lion Craig, and Lion Mike for leading this wonderful event!

Wow! We want to sincerely thank Francis, her two sons and The Eye Care Studio (US 23 and Cheshire Rd) for collecting 1,740 pairs of glasses for our club! We also want to thank Lion Vickie, Lion Bob and their neighbor Jane for counting the glasses. We currently have 3,440 glasses to deliver to SVOSH to aide in the gift of sight! Thank you!!!

Volunteer Opportunity!
Thursday, November 17 @5:30pm
All ages are welcome ❤️
Peanut Butter and Jelly time!!! Please join your local Lions Club in making PB & J sandwiches this Thursday, Nov. 17. Doors open at 5:30pm and we will start shortly after that. The sandwiches will go to Jordan’s Crossing. Powell United Methodist Church has graciously allowed us to use their kitchen. Please enter at the west side doors. We are also looking for donations of peanut butter, jelly, bread, and sandwich size zip lock bags. Please comment below if you may be interested in providing your gift of time or donations. Individuals, families and kids are welcome!

Enjoyed the evening with the Olentangy club tonight. Double dipped; we sorted 4120 pairs of glasses, and I was honored to install their officers after. Good time, and great job with the glasses!
