We have been getting a lot of questions about the water bills merging. This does NOT apply to Innis Water customers. Nothing has changed with our billing. The only people this applies to are the customers that are supplied with water from Water District 2.

🚨🚨 Some contractors have hit our main line in the Innis area. Some customers may experience very low water pressure for a couple of hours. Depending on the severity of the break, some may be without water just long enough to repair the line. Thanks 🚨🚨

There have been reports of a small number of fire hydrants leaking in the nearby area. This issue requires specialty repair that the water company is not equipped for. The appropriate repair company had been informed and we are currently still awaiting their arrival. Your patience is appreciated. Thank you.

We would like to address the community that is served by Innis Water. In the last couple of weeks, we have had issues with brownish water. The problem was caused from power failure during the bad weather. Our generator did engage when the electricity went out and ran perfectly to ensure everyone had water, however, when the power was restored; there was a problem with the power lines feeding the well. This interruption is what initially caused the problem. When the lines were repaired and the well started back up, it caused turbulence in the water, which stirs up minerals that have built up in the pipes. This is a natural occurrence that all water systems deal with. There were no contaminants introduced to the water system, we have done everything to ensure that the water is safe. We conduct routine monthly testing of the water with the state. The well is now working correctly and everything should be back to normal. We encourage anyone who has a problem with brown water, low pressure or anything else, to call the office ASAP so that we can address the issue. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience. On Monday, September 25th, the Innis Fire Department will begin routine flushing of the fire hydrants. It is possible that some customers will experience low water pressure or brown water. If this occurs, opening a faucet for a few minutes should clear it up. If a problem persists more than 24 hours, please notify Innis Water at 2254922399.
