Dear Families-
We want to thank everyone for the outpouring of support that our collective communities have received in just the few days following the devastating fire that has displaced the Bodge/Cosentine/Payne family that includes four LCPS students. Many have asked how they can help, and between the schools involved we are hoping to streamline our efforts which can maximize impact and efficiency.
After meeting with the family and determining initial needs, at this time a gift card collection would be most useful to assist with food, meals, gas, clothing/shoes, and essentials. Please refer to the memo within the Sign up Genius for instructions, gift cards are to be brought inside the schools for collection and distribution.
We will also be placing donation collection bins at each school; Catoctin Elementary, JL Simpson Middle, Loudoun County High School, and The Northstar School. Catoctin’s collection bin will be placed out Monday morning, located at the loading dock doors. Items collected here can include clothing, toiletries/essentials, household items, paper products/cutlery, card games/puzzles/games, new socks, new underwear, or other supplies that may be communicated as time goes on and the families’ situation changes.
Below is a list of clothing and shoe sizes for the family. For toiletries, please consider options for sensitive skin and eczema therapy.
Girls size 8-10 clothing, Size 1 or 2 shoe.
Mens size Small and Medium sweatpants, Tagless size Small or Medium shirts and hoodies, XXL shirts, XL hoodies and shirts, 36x34 pants, 32x34 pants
Mens Shoe sizes: 10, 12/13, 8.5 sneaker.
Womens: Size XS or Small lounge pants, XS/S tee shirts & sweatshirts, Medium yoga pants/leggings, Medium tops, 14-16 pants, XL/XXL tops.
Women's shoe sizes: 7.5/8
