🚨 URGENT NEED AT THE PANTRY🚨

PLEASE SHARE!

Over the last 2 weeks alone, we have served right under 150 local families, and with school now out for summer, the need in our community continues to grow. Our shelves are running extremely low, and we are currently in desperate need of just about everything. 🥫🤍

Items we give out weekly to every family include:
• Canned vegetables
•Canned soups
• Pasta & pasta sauce
• Canned beans
• Canned meats
• Peanut butter
• Breakfast items
• Fruits & jelly
• Chef Boyardee cans
• Baking & snack items
• Hygiene items

If you’re able to grab a couple extra items during your grocery trip and help us restock the shelves, we would appreciate it more than you know. 🤍

Donations can be dropped off anytime in our 24/7 donation box or through our website wishlist/support page.

We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Healthy Bucks program at the Town of Lebanon Farmers Market starts Wednesday, June 3 from 9 am to 12 pm and goes through the summer until school starts back! We are also very excited to welcome the summer school students of Russell County Public Schools back to the Market for Healthy Bucks from June 3- 24!

As a reminder, anyone ages 0-17 are eligible to receive 5 Healthy Bucks redeemable only at the Lebanon Farmers Market for fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, or pickles. Our volunteers will be requesting only the participant's name, age, and home zip code.

Great news! The deadline for our MCH Systems Assessment has been extended through the end of April! You still have time to make your voice heard. 📣

Your input helps decide how funding and resources for maternal and child health get directed to OUR area. Things like prenatal care, postpartum support, and health services for our little ones. A few minutes of your time can make a real difference for families right here at home. Your input WILL be used!

🚨 SCAM ALERT – PLEASE READ & SHARE 🚨

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office wants to make the public aware of a recent scam that resulted in a local resident losing $30,000.

On March 16, 2026, the victim received a notification claiming her phone had been compromised and that someone was attempting to make a purchase on her account. During the call, the scammer convinced her he was transferring her to her bank and then falsely claimed her identity had been stolen.

The suspect, identifying himself as “Roy Williams” with the Federal Trade Commission, instructed the victim to withdraw a large amount of cash and send it through UPS. The victim was directed to package the money and ship it overnight to an address in California.

After sending the money, the suspect continued to request additional funds. At that point, the victim realized it was a scam and stopped communication.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• No legitimate agency will ask you to withdraw cash and mail it.
• Government agencies will NOT call and request money or personal information this way.
• Never send cash through the mail.
• Always verify who you are speaking with before taking any action.

If you receive a suspicious call or message, do not engage. Contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.
