I've been thinking a lot about Jersey Pride recently. It was a lot of hard work that first year for those of us who volunteered for the first Jersey Pride, Inc. Pride Parade in Asbury Park. This June I volunteered for ALOHA MAUI PRIDE. Pride Parades have been held in Maui before, but it was our first time holding our Pride Festival in Wailuku. This time we brought the party to my home; I live on the same street that hosted the fabulous ALOHA MAUI PRIDE Festival! It was a blast! Over 2,000 people attended!!!

We have already begun the planning and fundraising for next June's ALOHA MAUI PRIDE Festival. One of our eventual goals is to become a Destination Pride Festival. So, I have got to ask: How many of you would want to travel to Maui for ALOHA MAUI PRIDE's Pride Festival?
