Here is an article about all of our cadets who took the time to help assist the Salvation Army here in Lebanon County. We all couldn’t be more proud of you all. Times are difficult and we may only be able to meet via Zoom meetings but to take the time to come and help the community with these efforts don’t go unnoticed. Thank you to each and everyone of you.

For weeks, cadets and seniors from the Lebanon Civil Air Patrol have been putting in tireless hours at the Salvation Army to benefit the local community.

A big thank you to all of our cadets who have helped with packaging meals for the Salvation Army. They are a wonderful organization to work with and the efforts of all of the cadets who participated have been commended on several occasions. You are all amazing and thank you for all you do as cadets and to your families that make it possible.

Today some of our cadets got to get out into the community and support efforts during these trying times while practicing Social Distancing. Jo Ellen Litz invited us to come out to the local YMCA and dirrect traffic while people in our Lebanon Community were able to come and receive masks at no charge to protect themselves from COVID 19 exposure. Much to our surprise we received a very gracious donation from Jo Ellen Litz at the conclusion that is greatly appreciated. As well as the LEBANON YMCA giving their half of there donation as well. This mission was a success our cadets were extremely grateful for the opportunity to partake in this Mission as well as to all of the people who made it possible for them to be there.

To all of our cadets if we were going to meetings right now the VFW commander would have filled you in on the details of this contest. While you are all at home now working on studies staying safe and conducting cadet testing and learning what a way to broaden your knowledge then to write an essay to be submitted for a contest. Happy Thursday cadets and we will see you tonight on the zoom meeting 😉
