For over 30 years, Sterling has been the heart and hands behind the scenes at Reamstown Memorial Park — mowing lawns, caring for the grounds, keeping everything looking beautiful, and making sure our community has a space to enjoy year after year. His dedication has never been about recognition, it’s about love for this park and the people who use it.

Tonight, his hard work and selflessness were celebrated in a big way as the East Cocalico Lions Club honored Sterling with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award — one of the highest forms of recognition given by Lions Clubs International for humanitarian service.

Sterling, your decades of commitment, sweat, and care have helped shape this park into the welcoming space it is today. On behalf of the park association, as well as everyone who has ever stepped foot in Reamstown Memorial Park, THANK YOU for everything you’ve done and continue to do. You’ve left a lasting mark on our community, and we are so proud to see you receive this well-deserved honor.
