⚾ Clancy Mager Fields ⚾
At last night’s meeting, the Le Center City Council proudly adopted a resolution dedicating and naming the softball fields at Centennial Park as Clancy Mager Fields in honor of longtime community leader and volunteer Clancy Mager.
Clancy’s impact on Le Center spans decades. A 1972 graduate and lifelong supporter of our community, he has served as Mayor of Le Center, a Le Sueur County Commissioner, and a dedicated volunteer for countless organizations and events. His commitment to local athletics, community service, and civic involvement has touched generations of residents.
Many of the improvements enjoyed at the softball fields today including lighting, bleachers, repairs, and ongoing support of the softball program are the result of Clancy’s leadership, dedication, and hard work. Beyond the ballfield, Clancy has been a tireless ambassador for Le Center, always promoting and supporting our community wherever he goes.
A member of numerous organizations, including the Knights of Columbus, Community Club, Wrestling Booster Club, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clancy has exemplified a life centered on faith, family, and community.
Please join us in congratulating Clancy on this well deserved recognition and thanking him for his many years of service to the City of Le Center.
🥎 Thank you, Clancy, for everything you have done for our community. Your legacy will continue to inspire future generations at Clancy Mager Fields. 🥎
