This weekend marks the biggest group event that the CVC does each year - The Celebration of Lights Parade. It's the one event where we mix all of our favorite characters - Star Wars, Disney, Ghostbusters, superheroes, and more - from comic books to the big screen - and we cover them with lights and let them loose on the streets of downtown Modesto! Come watch the parade at 5pm and wave to your favorite characters as they walk, skip, dance or march by.

It looks like somebody (me) has been slacking off and not posting when and where the Central Valley Costumers will be. Next weekend, July 8 and 9, CVC will be at Modesto-Con! Join us at 3:00 for a group photo shoot on the stairs out front, open to any and all costumers! Sunday at 1:30, there will be a panel on Costuming for the Community as well. Hope to see you there!
