A special thank you to everyone who supported my campaign with volunteer hours, donations, guidance, prayers, votes and other great gestures.

My passion, love and vigor for children has never been more heightened now than ever! I am committed to further inspiring the hopes of Clark County school children and my vision of bridging the gaps will continue to move forward.

Knowing that the students and families I've assisted now have lifetime tools & skills that will help them to achieve greater in life is my ultimate award - - - I am grateful!

I will walk proud and tall knowing that I attempted something that many would shy away from in order to better the community where I was born & raised.

Meet Emerge Nevada Alumnae Kasina Douglass-Boone, 2020 candidate for Clark County School Board Trustee, District B!

Kasina works as a Safe School Professional at the Peterson Academic Center. She is also the founder of a girl’s mentorship organization Teaching and Uniting Ladies to Inspire Positive Success (TULIPS). Kasina serves in other volunteer leadership roles, including with the City of Las Vegas’ My Brother’s Keeper Community Engagement Task Force, as the Youth Chair for the Las Vegas Chapter of the NAACP, as a lead advisor for the Zeta Archonette Club, and a Parliamentarian for the local and state chapters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She is also part of the founding leadership team for Ty’s Place, an after-school hangout and mentorship hub for adolescents.
