A couple from Georgia is suing Resorts World Las Vegas, alleging they got sick from black mold in their hotel room at the resort.

Mark and Leilani Nickerson filed suit in Clark County District Court against Resorts World and Hilton Worldwide over their January stay at a Conrad hotel room.

The lawsuit alleges the Nickersons suffered bodily and emotional injuries and have needed to see several doctors to be tested for mold-related injuries, and they are seeking damages of more than $30,000 for a claim of negligence.

News 3 has reached out to Resorts World and Hilton Worldwide for comment.
