Interesting fact: The popular notion of buried treasure chests and treasure maps is mostly fictional. Pirates usually spent their spoils rapidly while in port and didn't bother to hide them.

Were you aware that historical records reveal minimal evidence of pirates forcing captives to walk the plank, with most instances involving prisoners being thrown overboard or left stranded on deserted islands?

Today means much more than a bbq and a fun day off. We honor all those that have fallen while serving this country. Today we remember and honor our ancestors that have paved our way with blood. Their lives have meaning because we the living refuse to forget them. The courageous fallen, the anguished fallen. Raise your Tankards in their memory! In Their Honor!
