Today we honored Jane James. Jane graduated with her RN degree in 1947 & spent several years working with pediatric patients before staying home to raise her family. In her later years Jane volunteered with the American Heart Association, taking blood pressures st schools & many different events. Jane is spry and healthy, celebrating her 101 1/2 birthday with her family today. Her backyard was full of beautiful flowers. She gets out & does her ‘therapy’ in the garden each day. It was a delight & an honor to perform a Living Tribute for Jane James RN, today.

We got to hang out at Aviation Days at Mason Jewett Airport, where we met a man who said he was the first pediatric patient at Ingham Medical!! You just never know who you will meet!!!

We so enjoyed our time with Peggy Goff and her family. Two of us had worked with her and we had some time to reminisce.

A beautiful day to celebrate Ronda Allen. She became a nurse in 2008 after having worked in a factory for several years. She worked at Heartland Healthcare for 5 1/2 years in Ionia as both an LPN and as an RN. She then worked at Sheridan Community Hospital for about 8 1/2 years before retiring in 2020.

What a beautiful person! We had the honor to spend some time with Rosie Gough, she graduated St. Lawrence Mercy School of Nursing in 1953 then went on to work at Mercy Hospital in Jackson in Surgery after graduating, then to St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco , then back to Mercy Hospital in the nursery, surgery and med- surg until 1969 while raising 4 children. She retired from active nursing before her 5th child was born.
