People's Action League We are a group of Lansing, MI residents who seek to engage with our elected officials and who support candidates who promote respect for human rights.

We, The People’s Action League, hold these words, engraved on a monument at Michigan’s Capitol Building, as our guiding principles. With these principles in mind, we work to research and gain knowledge of our local and state communities, the laws that affect them, and the elected officials serving them. We aim to share that knowledge with others, striving to promote ca

ndidates for elected positions that share these same ideals. We seek to interact as directly as possible with the politicians who run our government and the candidates running for office in order to influence them in a humanitarian direction. Respect for human rights is the cornerstone of all good government, and we intend to influence the most influential people to hold them accountable to the way their choices impact people’s lives. There is power in numbers, and we are exercising that power.
