Members of the Northtown Neighborhood Association will participate in a street walk/march on Wednesday evening July 18th. It is an effort to unite and meet our neighbors. It begins at Cristo Rey Community Center at 6 pm. Please come.

Northtown Neighborhood applied for the Neighborhoods in Bloom and received it for the 1st time. We decided to plant the flowers at the GRHS where we have our meetings. There are several people who have already volunteered from Head Start, along with some of the parents/kids who will be helping as well.

Our little project will be on Mon May 21, 2018 @ 10am, not sure how long it will take. We will be doing some weeding, placing topsoil, mulch & planting flowers. It's not a huge area, we're doing under the sign & in front of the building on both sides of the door.
If you'd like to join us we'd like to have you. We will be taking pics for our website & the City's as they require it for the Neighborhoods In Bloom program (where we got flowers)

ATTENTION: Just wanted to let everyone know that this months Community Meeting will be held on Tues May 22 (4th Tues instead of last) at 5pm, instead of 6pm our normal time, it's a ONE TIME ONLY change. At this meeting we will be handing out our flowers for our annual "Curb Appeal" if you want flowers you will need to attend & plant flowers in plain view of the curb. Also, we ask that you keep them within our neighborhood. Also, Jody Washington will be taking your comments for the City budget.

Hey folks, I know that the schedule shows we're open tonight but we're NOT! Our meetings are the LAST Tuesday of the month, so meeting is next Tuesday Jan 30th. Sorry but there's currently no way for me to change the calendar to show this, it just shows that we're open on Tuesdays. I'll be sure to keep posting when the General meetings are. Happy Birthday Northtown Neighborhood Association! 2018 we will celebrate 25 yrs in Northtown Neighborhood. We will be planning a picnic/party for this event. Update to Northtown Neighborhood. As of Feb 13, 2015 Northtown Neighborhood Associations board is currently under transitioning for the coming 2015 year. Our current board members are as follows; Kat Tyler (President), Jesse Williams (Vice President), Eileen Brooker (Secretary), Patrick Barnes (Board Member), Vicky Miller (Board Member), currently we do not have a Treasurer. We are in the process of searching for a qualified candidate for this position.
We have some exciting ideas for outreach in our community to better inform the neighborhood of NNA's activities for 2015. We currently hold our board meetings the 2nd Tues of every month and the Community meetings are the "last" Tues of every month, both meetings are from 6:30 pm-8:00pm. All meetings are held at the GRHS located on E. Gd. River Ave. & Massachusetts Ave.
We ask that you have patience while we grow together as a newly formed memebership and find ways to help strenghten our neighborhood and community. We look forward to seeing you at the General meetings and hearing any input, questions or concerns you have to offer.
Next General Meeting: Feb 24, 2015 6:30pm-8:00pm
March's Board Meeting: March 10, 2015 6:30-8:00pm
March's General Meeting: March 31, 2015 6:30pm-8:00pm (last tues)

The office of U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., State Representative Andy Schor, and Ingham County Register Curtis Hertel are sponsoring a free homeownership workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Cristo Rey Community Center.
