A special thank you to all of the amazing professionals who took time out of their busy schedules to visit our Monte Vista Elementary students for Career Day.

Our students had the opportunity to learn about different career paths they can start thinking about for the future. We appreciate our community helping our students dream big! 🤝

We thank every parent,guardian, caregiver for all the amazing work you do all year long with love and dedication. Last Friday, was a small celebration and appreciation of your hard work. Thank you to our Student and Family Services Department for making this event memorable and enjoyable with CONGA Kids performances and recognizing each parent for their commitment to our LANCSD journey. 💃🕺

It’s a wrap for our Adult ESL Classes ✅

This cohort started back in February, and so many students have learned and grown in their English skills. Thank you to Ms. Chinchilla for being such a patient, fun, and welcoming English teacher. She shared that she was once in the same position as many of her students, which made her journey and encouragement even more meaningful.🫶

In celebration, our school district hosted its very first AANHPI Knowledge Bowl this year, featuring special presentations and engaging questions that highlighted the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of AANHPI communities.
