Playset at Stoneco Park will be CLOSED until Monday. We are repairing the damage done by vandalism. We would love some eyes on the playset this weekend. If you would like to volunteer your time to watch over the area making sure no one gets inside the fence barrier, please contact the township or call the Supervisor Jeff Thomas

Thank you Stoneco Pickleball players for your patience while we researched the best wind/sun screens for our courts. The new (and hopefully durable) screens have been ordered and will be installed as soon as they are received.

We are still looking for a few homes to volunteer their wells to be checked for static water level for our township water study. Please call David Arthur Consultants at 734-823-5080 if you are in the shaded areas below and would like to volunteer. There is no cost to the study and it takes about five minutes. Some people have asked why they have been turned away after volunteering. The reason is we only need so many wells in each area of influence. Otherwise, we are checking extra wells for no reason which adds cost and time to this study. Thank you for your consideration!

The generator tech diagnosed that a surge from the power outage took out the control board for the generator which made it inoperable. The good news is that Consumers has updated us that power should be restored within an hour. The water plant will then be back in full operation.

Due to the power outage and a generator malfunction the water plant power is down. Consumers Energy has prioritized this area for restoration and a generator tech is on their way to get the generator up and running. We will keep you posted on status.

Well done, Whiteford! Seven dumpsters worth of trash and five trailers full of scrap metal gone today! Thank you trustees Steve Morgan and Bob Lloyd for the ex*****on today. Also thank you to Jake Ray for jumping in and helping.

In addition to dumpsters being available at Whiteford Stoneco Park from 10am-3pm, tomorrow, 5/16, in the Pickleball parking lot off Sterns Rd, the Whiteford Track and Field and Cross Country teams will have a trailer to collect scrap metal in case you missed their recent fundraiser.

We look forward to seeing Whiteford residents at the township trash collection this Saturday, 10-3 at Stoneco Park. Please follow previously posted guidelines for items that are not accepted Due to unforeseen schedule issues the park clean up for Stoneco will need to be rescheduled for a later date.

The Whiteford Township Board of Trustees will hold a budget workshop on Tuesday, May 12 at 5 pm to review the proposed 2026 - 2027 budget. The public is invited to attend.
