2:27 PM UPDATE: The Swim Center is open and operational.

EDIT UPDATE 1:05 PM, 06/04/2026: the Lakeway Swim Center is temporarily closed due to lightning within the vicinity of the facility. Pool maintenance for the Leisure Pool has completed and will resume normal operation once the lightning clears up. For more information on weather related closures, please call the Swim Center at 512-261-3000.

Now that we’re into the SWIM🐟 of things over here at the Lakeway Swim Center for our summer season, a HUGE shout out is due for these six individuals! 🎉⭐️This is the Lakeway Head Lifeguard team. This fantastic groups of leaders, lifeguard instructors, and experienced lifeguards help prepare management in getting the facility and staff ready for summer, usually right after getting home from college in the spring! 🎓📚They’ve worked long hours, led and attended many trainings, and are a continual source of help and inspiration for the Lakeway staff. We are so proud of our hardworking Head Lifeguards! 🎉🙌🥳

Pre-summer training has officially wrapped up at the Lakeway Swim Center! 😁🥳Thank you Lake Travis Fire Rescue for stopping by for our EAP Day training and talking to our lifeguards about the importance of their role as emergency responders. Every year before summer starts, the Lakeway staff have a training dedicated to our facility’s Emergency Action Plan, which is a plan of who does what and when in an emergency, so we are prepared to handle any emergency that comes our way.😎

We look forward to seeing our guests this weekend for our 2026 summer grand opening!🎉🤩

Join us this Saturday, May 23 from 9:30 -10:30 AM for our FREE Swim Assessment Day to help place your swimmer in the right class. We still have spots available! Weather permitting and we will post if anything changes.

The first annual Lakeway International Water Safety Day this past Friday was a success! Thank you to Colin’s Hope and Lake Travis Fire Rescue for joining our team and making this event so meaningful. The Lakeway Swim Center is looking forward to continuing our education on water safety, and highlight our lifeguards and swim instructors who have such an important role in drowning prevention.🌊🛟

We hope to see y’all again next year on International Water Safety Day!👋😁
