If you're looking for something to do out in the sun, their is a vendor fair going on right now in Granite Falls. Go check it out. They have paintings, make-up, clothing, woodworking, raffles, plants, jams and jellies, bird feeders, lularoe, krispy cremes, food truck, etc and it supports a good cause. On the main drag in downtown granite falls. Can't miss it. Today until 4pm!

The Lake Stevens Planning and Community Development and
Lake Stevens Police Department will host a Public Meeting to
present and discuss the Water Safety Lane for Lake Stevens on
Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Lake Stevens
Community Center, located next to City Hall at 1808 Main Street.

The meeting will contain information on the water safety lane
program and potential impacts to public safety and community
members. They want to add buoys and a no-wake zone around the lake.

The city hopes to gain insights and feedback from the community
to incorporate into the final plan. We invite you to attend and
participate in this community meeting.

SEATTLE -- The family of an 18-year-old Lake Stevens man is pleading with the public for information about the death of their son. Investigators with the Lake Stevens Police Department found Ben Keita hanging from a tree in a wooded area of the city in early January.

Ernesto D. Nibre, a 29 year old male, is missing from an assisted living facility in the 2400 block of 84th Dr NE, Lake Stevens, WA. Nibre was last seen on Saturday, July 16th, 2016, at about 1430 hours. Nibre walked away from the assisted living facility wearing a brown or tan colored jacket, blue sweatpants and brown boots. Nibre recently shaved his head and no longer has facial hair. If you see Ernesto Nibre please contact 911 as the Lake Stevens Police Department’s telephones are not staff 24 hours a day.
