It has been a long and fun campaign season and unfortunately it has came to a end. I have met and talked to some wonderful people during this journey and that will never be forgotten.
I would like to thank my campaign staff and a loud shout out to my social media guru who helped me through the technical aspects of campaigning.
I ran for Sheriff for the right reasons and that was for the betterment of the staff which would lead to better service for the county. One of my platforms was for mental health and after the Fox 9 article was published, I have had a few first responders and military personal reach out to me expressing the need for it.
I may have lost the election, but I will not give up on the focus of helping our first responders. They need to cope with what they have endured in their profession because they deserve to live a happy and fulfilling life during and after their services.
Thank you all for believing in me and making the campaign season so memorable.
