This year’s One Voice United National Medal of Honor was more than an event. It was a reminder of the professionalism, sacrifice, leadership, and humanity that exists across corrections every single day.
As we recognize National Correctional Officers Week, we also recognize the extraordinary men and women who continue to serve behind the walls, often without public recognition, despite the challenges they face.
