Congrats to the Michigan Senate! It is the first legislative chamber in the country to pass a state voting rights act since the federal Voting Rights Act was recently gutted by the U.S. Supreme Court’s conservative majority. Now the Michigan Voting Rights Act is headed to the Michigan House. Write or call your state representative and encourage them to pass the Michigan Voting Rights Act!
