We are thrilled to announce a powerful collaboration between United Way and Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Military and Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) in presenting the "Strong Forces Strong Families" program. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to support and uplift our military families through this incredible initiative.

Strong Families Strong Forces (SFSF) is an evidence-base program designed to support military and veteran families with children 0-17 navigate military-life events. Those life events may include deployments, PCS, frequent TDY, retirements, or separating from the service. Our SFSF team are all military-connected and offer a community of support and a network of resources as families strengthen their skills to tackle military-life challenges.

Strong Families Strong Forces
A whole family program (parent-child, coparenting, partner/spousal)
Reinforces and strengthens the web of family relationships and connections, including parent-child and couple relationships.
Builds upon existing strengths and experience new growth and development.
Acknowledges that military-related transitions/separations can be a stressful time for all kinds of families and for all members of the family.
It is “primary prevention” meaning meant for all families (going through military-life events)

The EFMP Halloween Howl Down Community Resource Fair is open to the JBSA community. Meet with over 40 JBSA and San Antonio Community Partners. All costumes are encouraged.

Join us for all the thrills, chills, and fa-boo-lous activities and games we have prepared for you and your family!

This Friday we will be having:
• Trunk-or-Treating
• Haunted House
• Carnival Games
• Food Trucks
• Hay Rides and More!

Our first week of Summer Reading has been a blast! Next week we want you to Find Your Voice Through Service to Others. Come out to the JBSA Randolph Library on June 14th @ 10AM to Touch A Truck! Come see a real firetruck and meet some JBSA Randolph Firefighters! We also have great activities and crafts all week long! The crafts are for ages 0 - 17. Don’t forget to keep logging your reading minutes and pick up your weekly reading prize at the Library! We can't wait to see you next week!
