UHS Nutrition & Wellness 2 students got a behind-the-scenes look at the Isle Casino Waterloo kitchen, where they learned from Chef Rob and gained hands-on experience plating and serving the 8th Grade Etiquette Meal!

The Union Community School District will begin a repaving project on the north parking lot at Union High School starting Monday, June 8. Construction is expected to last approximately 4 weeks. 🚧

For safety reasons, there will be no access to the parking lot during construction. Vehicles may not be parked in the lot for access to the swimming pool, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, basketball areas, or for any other purpose.

Any vehicles parked in the lot during construction may be towed at the owner's expense.

Our 4th grade students visited the Ag Museum with support from the City Library staff. They learned about the history of La Porte City, explored the historic cottage, and discovered the Ford automobile era!

Students also learned about power and gears before putting their knowledge to work by building and racing battery-powered cars! 🚗
