Meet Kali Bengtson, our new middle school art teacher! 🛡️

Kali is starting her first year of teaching here at Union, and she’s excited to get to know our students and staff. One of her favorite things about art education is giving students a place to be creative and express themselves.

In her free time, she enjoys creating her own art, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

A 529 College Savings Plan allows families to save gradually and watch those contributions grow over time. If you have questions, our school counselors are a great resource.

Collin Arndt is joining Union as our high school activities director and student success coordinator! 🛡️

“I’m most excited about the opportunity to work for great people,” he says. “The leadership team at Union have people who are truly dedicated to their jobs. Administration, coaches, and directors that I’ll get to work with everyday are the biggest reasons why I am excited!”

Families interested in enrolling their child in Union CSD's 4-Year-Old Preschool Program for the 2026-27 school year are invited to complete our enrollment form!

Children must be 4 years old on or before September 15, 2026, to be eligible. Registration materials will be shared this spring.

Preschool is held Tuesday through Friday, with two session options:
➡️ Morning session: 8:00am-11:00am
➡️ Afternoon session: 12:10pm-3:10pm

September is Attendance Awareness Month, a great time to think about the routines that set students up for a successful year!

Here are a few ideas to help:

✅ Set a consistent wakeup time each school day
✅ Pack backpacks and prep lunches the night before
✅ Keep a family calendar with important school dates
✅ Schedule appointments outside of school hours whenever possible
✅ Contact your school office if you need any assistance
