🐾 Free & Low-Cost Pet Care Clinic Coming to Precinct 2! 🐾

Our office is proud to partner with the Hays County Health Department and Pet Prevent a Litter - PALS to bring affordable pet care services to our community!

Join us on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM at our Precinct 2 Office (5458 FM 2770, Kyle, TX 78640) for free and low-cost vaccines, microchips, wellness services, flea prevention, nail trims, and more for both dogs and cats.

Together, we’re helping keep our pets healthy, safe, and happy while making essential veterinary care more accessible for Hays County families.

A burn ban is now in effect in the unincorporated areas of Hays County, beginning 8/11/26 and continuing through 9/29/26.

During the burn ban, outdoor burning is prohibited in affected unincorporated areas. Please help protect our communities and reduce the risk of wildfires by following the burn ban and avoiding activities that could spark a fire.

Our next Commissioners Court meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11 at 9 am at our Historic Courthouse in Downtown San Marcos (111 E. San Antonio St. San Marcos, TX 78666).
