Laundry Love: Knoxville works to restore dignity and provide hope by offering free laundry service to struggling families on the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of every month. Laundry Love: Knoxville is a program operated by Neighboring Knoxville (501c3, EIN 83-0908345), designed to ease the burden of laundry care for struggling families. While many of us take laundry for granted, clean clothes can

make a world of difference for adults seeking employment and kids attending school. We want to share our time and resources to provide our neighbors with a boost of confidence that clean clothing can deliver. We host free laundry events every month on the first Tuesday at The Wash House on Kingston Pk and the third Thursday at Bluewater Laundry on N Broadway in Knoxville. Our events will be more than just doing laundry--we'll provide a light meal, fun activities for the kids, and friendly conversation while the laundry tumbles. You can join us for our next event, volunteer to help out, or donate money or supplies to help brighten the lives of our neighbors.

📣📣📣 Important Program Update 📣📣📣

For years, we've been honored to serve our neighbors with free laundry events at both The Wash House - Knoxville and WaveMax Knoxville. These gatherings have been more than clean clothes—they've been moments of connection, dignity, and care.

Starting next month, we’re streamlining our operations by hosting both monthly events at WaveMax Knoxville (5210 Schubert Rd).

This change allows us to:

✅ Provide a more consistent experience for our guests
✅ Better support our volunteers and maximize impact
✅ Ensure long-term sustainability for our mission

We’re deeply grateful to The Wash House - Knoxville for their partnership over the years, and we look forward to continuing the love at WaveMax Knoxville with the same heart, hospitality, and hope.
