Three wins in the library this past week...

1) A 2nd grade student had a favorite book in hand. Then, they recommended the series to a classmate, and joyfully escorted the student to the correct shelf. Peer recommendations are magical! It made my heart so happy.

2) A colleague asked for a class set of habitat books.

3) Finally, so many new students are using morning open library time.

Patrons using the library as it is intended is priceless.

This future event is coming very soon on September 8. Any guesses???

On our last day with students in our building, we added new books to our library.

Yesterday, we selected a group of potential books for a future event. Any guesses what might be coming? Check the picture for a clue.

Tomorrow, we pack up and add even more new books for next school year. Have a great summer everyone. Keep reading.

I am beyond grateful. I asked for storage bags to protect library books and our families from our school delivered. They also blessed us with books and supplies for the school library. Thank you all so much.

Picture 1 are the books and supplies. Picture 2 are the storage boxes leftover after making a bag for every student grade 1 - 5. We are ready to provide replacements. If we run low. I will reach out again.

We just want to express our gratitude for a recent donation by Adam Wilson Realty. We are using our white boards for more lessons. The pencil size markers are better for our students. It helps them write long form answers. Thank you for making our students successful.

1 class from each grade won a chalk party for returning library books.

For our final lesson of the year, students are building with Legos in response to finding a solution for a problem from a picture book. 2nd and 3rd also have an option to draw their answer.
