When the World Trade Center collapsed on September 11, 2001, nearly 10,000 emergency rescue workers joined in the efforts to help. More than 300 of those heroes were dogs.

We remember and honor the Hero Dogs of 9/11, along with the countless people whose lives were irrevocably changed. From search and rescue dogs to comfort dogs to bomb detection dogs, these K9s stories of courage and healing are a long-lasting legacy that must never be forgotten.

Today, we mourn the loss of everyone involved in the tragedy, and all of the working dogs that worked tirelessly to help.

Deputy Brice and K9 Loki spent 3 days attending a Tracking Workshop taught by world class trainer Daryll Pleasants from the UK the last few days! They worked on their tracking skills through various terrain including water! A very worthwhile and important training which they both enjoyed!

Thanks to North Huntingdon Police Department for hosting! Special thanks to Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. for covering the cost of the workshop as well!
