Today's station tour welcomed a homeschool group, and it may have been one of the cutest tours yet! The kids were full of excitement, asked great questions, and definitely learned something new.

One of the biggest lessons they took home was the importance of having a home fire escape plan, knowing two ways out of every room, and understanding what to do if their smoke alarms sound.

The highlight of the day, though, was listening to a conversation between a couple of the boys while they were sitting in the engine. The way they talked, you'd think they were already planning their future careers in the fire service. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and confidence made for a memorable tour and a great reminder of why community education is so important. 🚒🔥😊

This past week, one of our Community Risk Reduction Specialists volunteered as a Camp Counselor at Camp Courage through the The Arizona Burn Foundation for the second year in a row.

Camp Courage provides burn survivors with a supportive and empowering environment where they can participate in a wide variety of activities, including zip lining, archery, horseback riding, arts and crafts, yoga, swimming, lake day, and much more.

Being part of this incredible experience is both an honor and a privilege. Camp Courage creates a safe space where campers can build confidence, form lasting friendships, and create memories that will stay with them for years to come. We are proud to support such an amazing program and the resilient individuals it serves. ❤️🔥
