This aircraft was scheduled to transport a patient from FLL to ISP (Long Island, NY) with a full ALS Team.

The flight plan was released, the Advanced Life Support Team had traveled via commercial airline from NY into Florida and were ready in position, the pilots all briefed and the plane stocked and ready to go.

Then the call came in.

Our patient’s condition had rapidly deteriorated and she was rushed to the ICU and would be unable to be released from the local community hospital for the flight.

With a smile, our incredible Hatzolah Air volunteers coordinated with our flight logistics team and rebooked themselves back to NY without even seeing the patient, ready to return when asked.

In our line of work, the only thing predictable is that details are never predictable.

Thank you Hatzolah Air Mitzvah Team!!

Hiding on this ramp is a plane that criss-crosses the globe, changing lives one patient at a time.

To most people, it is simply another aircraft among many. But when the call comes, this Mitzvah Machine becomes an airborne ICU, a bridge between a critically ill patient and the care they desperately need and a source of hope for an entire family.

Behind every mission are our mechanics and pilots, medical professionals, dispatchers, volunteers and supporters like you working around the clock, across borders and time zones, with one shared purpose: to answer the call and bring someone the flight of their life.

That plane is Hatzolah Air. While the flights are often free, the mission is always priceless.

And while some may not be able to understand how 400+ volunteers will drop everything to help someone they never met, FOR FREE, we remain focused on what truly matters: saving lives and helping those who need us.

Wherever the patient. Whatever the distance. Whenever we are needed. Hatzolah Air is there.

One moment of summer fun became a family’s worst nightmare in an instant. Sadly, drowning emergencies are among the most heartbreaking calls our crews respond to—and they happen far too often.

Our teams never rest. Day and night, we stand ready to answer the call, hoping every mission ends with a miracle.

Earlier today, emergency responders were dispatched to a drowning involving a young child near Beit Shemesh. The child was found unconscious, without a pulse, and not breathing. Advanced resuscitation efforts were immediately initiated at the scene.

While lifesaving treatment continued, our MDA / Hatzolah Air helicopter rapidly airlifted the child in critical condition to Hadassah Medical Center, where teams continue to fight for the child’s life.

Please keep this precious child, the dedicated medical teams caring for him, and his entire family in your thoughts and prayers.

May G-d send this child a complete and speedy recovery.

Hatzolah Air flies its first-ever ECMO Transport Team.

After suffering an acute STEMI while aboard a cruise ship near Alaska, a patient from Texas was still in critical condition after being flown by helicopter to a local ICU in Anchorage.

Hatzolah Air Response Team was urgently requested to fly to Houston to pick up a team of 8 doctors, nurses and Perfusionists who flew with ECMO machines to Anchorage to fly the patient back to Houston for specialized advanced medical care.

This mission represents far more than miles traveled. It reflects the dedication of our physicians, nurses, logistics teams, flight crews, and volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure patients can access the highest level of care wherever in the world they may be.

A milestone moment for our organization. A life defining moment for one very lucky patient.

Together with the University of Texas exceptional Medical Teams and the fabulous coordination by Million Air the Hatzolah Air Mission was executed flawlessly.

UT+MillionAir+Hatzolah Air =OneTeamOneMission.

This is likely the fastest Air Ambulance in the world.

Zooming thru the air at Mach .92 this flying ICU connects countries at almost the speed of sound.

Just another reason why Hatzalah Organizations, Medical Referral Professionals, Chabad Houses and others only trust Hatzolah Air crews to care for their patients.

At 3:12am our teams were called to fly emergently to North Carolina for a tragedy. In less than 90 minutes we were airborne.

The details are too painful to post. Please pray for this family. Together we are

Everyday Hatzolah Air gets special requests.

This time it was to care for a medically fragile female patient requesting a female crew.

This flight request would present with unique set of challenges during the 2.5 hour flight from Florida to Indiana.

Our dispatch sent the request out to our volunteers and within 8 minutes Michelle, an ER Nurse from South Florida answered the call volunteering to lead this mission, treating our patient as her family.

Every day Hatzolah Air is faced with challenges. Sometimes financial, sometimes operational and sometimes just bad people trying to throw darkness.

Yet every day God chooses Hatzolah Air to brighten the day of a family in need.
