We invite you to embark on a captivating walking tour of Kew Gardens in Queens. On the morning of July 29th, at 10 am, prepare to be swept away by the beauty and rich history of this neighborhood.
The Historic Districts Council is working with The Kew Gardens Improvement Association and the Kew Gardens Preservation Alliance to offer this tour as part of our 2023 Six to Celebrate program.
This tour will shine a spotlight on the outstanding single-family homes that grace the neighborhood, as well as significant apartment complexes, religious institutions, and the iconic Lefferts Blvd bridge lined with retail and commercial establishments.
The tour will be led by Adrienne Onofri, a New York City-based journalist specializing in travel and entertainment, and author of books such as Walking Queens: 30 Tours for Discovering the Diverse Communities, Historic Places, and Natural Treasures of New York City’s Largest Borough.
