REST IN PEACE: Rockdale County firefighter Juan Antonia Smith II has died after being ejected from a fire truck during a rollover crash.

"His courage, dedication, and selflessness exemplified the highest ideals of the fire service and will never be forgotten."

I know everyone has heard about the tragic and unbelievable situation that happened in Kenton today. Please remember, as of now nobody posting about this tragic event knows exactly what happened. TBI is still investigating as I type this. Please keep all the negative thoughts and ideas to yourself, until everything is publicly reported. Pray for all involved. I’ll guarantee everyone that responded today will never forget this day. Kenton fire would like to thank everyone that turned out today to help. We would also liked to thank all the citizens of Kenton, especially the ones in the neighborhood of this event for the understanding and patience while we had many who could not get to their homes while we had the neighborhood in a lockdown situation.
