Amazing evening last night celebrating our Veterans. The Ford Oval of Honor awarded three new recipients last evening from the Vietnam era. Emotional and touching.

Then we heard Col. Mark Tillman describe his career, specifically as the pilot of Air Force One for President Bush during 9/11.

A huge thank you to State Rep. Michelle Teska for the invite, all the Warren County representatives, and specifically all the amazing veterans in attendance. 🇺🇸

- Downtown Franklin Ohio Farmers Market on Saturday morning (8:30AM-12:00PM)
- Movie in the Park Saturday evening (9:00PM)
- Playground and Spray Park open all day every day

💦 Spray Park Grand Opening 💦

We wanted to get wet… that we did!
We didn’t let a little rain get in our way of having a fun afternoon.

Enjoy your Spray Park every day this summer from 8AM - 1 Hour past dusk. This will allow you to enjoy the park during the heat of the day and also enjoy the cool lights and water at night.

A HUGE ‘Thank You’ to our Public Works Department for doing all the underground, construction, and assembly of this entire Spray Park. This generated a massive savings and the highest quality product for the community.

And of course, a huge ‘Thank You’ to you, the community for giving suggestions and supporting the efforts of these projects to continue to make Franklin an amazing place to live, work, play, and raise a family!

Congratulations to all of our graduating Wildcats and to all the award & scholarship recipients.

Corrina and I were honored to award the very first ‘Centers Community Impact Scholarship’ at this year’s ceremony.

Service, leadership, and investing in others are values that were modeled for us by my parents, Denny and Joni Centers, passed down to our generation and ones we hope continue for generations to come.

Our goal with this scholarship is simple: support young people who care about their community, lead with character, and want to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients, Erin Von Holle and Audrey O’Hara. We are incredibly proud of you both and excited to see the impact you will make in the future.

Franklin has a bright future with young leaders like these!

Our city has been awarded a $1 million State of Ohio grant to help clean up the former Boxboard site and continue moving our downtown revitalization efforts forward. This investment will help prepare the site for future mixed use development and continued growth in our downtown.

This is the direct result of years of hard work, planning, and collaboration by City staff, Council, community partners, and residents who continue to support and believe in Franklin’s future.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the vision for a stronger and revitalized Franklin.

The clean-up will remove approximately 5,000 tons of contaminated soil from a former industrial paper mill site and prepare the property for mixed-use residential and commercial development.

County Wide Election Endorsements:

Tomorrow is the May Primary and you have some big decisions locally and county-wide. I keep getting asked about these two specific races so I wanted to share that I am proudly supporting two strong leaders that are bringing new ideas and fresh perspectives to two County-wide seats in Warren County.

There’s something special about watching LUKE Kennard in town.

Corrina and I stopped by the Main Street Tavern in downtown Franklin and as always, the atmosphere, service, and attention to detail were outstanding. Places like this are what make our downtown special.

When you chose to dine and unwind locally, you are investing right back into our community, supporting small business owners, and helping keep Franklin vibrant.

If you have not stopped by the Main Street Tavern, I highly recommend it.
