Our kids and future Lions are grateful for your support and commitment to their education!

Kaufman ISD would like to say, THANK YOU for SUPPORTING our KIDS! It began with parents, staff, students and members of our community working tirelessly for months to create a plan that addressed the needs of every student in our district.

The passing of this bond is a direct reflection of the commitment our small town has made to invest in our students. Schools are the foundation of a community, and together, we have taken a giant step forward towards building a brighter future for our children and our community.

We will continue to communicate next steps as we move forward in the process.

🦁 Due to our current and future community growth, Kaufman ISD is projected to reach 5,000 students in the next five years!

Yet, our current infrastructure struggles to keep pace, as evident by the challenges faced daily.

❓Did you know that teachers at Kaufman High School are instructing classes in non-traditional spaces like the Hall of Fame area, cafeteria stages, and even cramped teachers' lounges?

🟡 This is due to rising enrollment already being seen at Kaufman High School and Norman Junior High, students find themselves learning in portable buildings as a temporary fix to accommodate enrollment growth, with more students coming as a result of Kaufman’s fast growth.

⚫️ The time to act is now! By supporting the KISD Bond 2024, we can provide the essential facilities and resources necessary to ensure that every student receives a quality education in a safe, secure learning environment.
