I wanted to personally follow up on Kevin’s message from Tuesday and share how excited we are about this next chapter.

First, we are incredibly grateful to Kevin. He has built something special with Encore, and we don’t take that lightly. Just as important, Kevin is not going anywhere. In fact, he will be even more available and focused on supporting your printing needs moving forward.

On our side, Triangle Printing & Marketing is also a family-owned business. We are now in our third generation of ownership, and while the family name has changed, the values have not. We are deeply customer-focused and committed to long-term relationships.

Kevin and I go back more than 20 years. He coached our daughters’ softball team, and we have stayed connected ever since. Over the past several years, our companies have partnered to bring additional services to Encore clients.

Through that relationship, it became clear this transition would be a strong win across the board for Encore, Triangle, and most importantly, you.

Nothing about your day-to-day experience should feel disrupted. We are staying right here in Katy, in the same building and same office. Only the name is changing. In addition to our Katy location, we also have a full production facility in Houston to support expanded capabilities and capacity.

If anything, you’ll gain added capabilities and support behind the scenes, including expanded options in wide format color, AEC printing, promotional products, and marketing and mailing services.

Kevin remains your primary contact, just as he always has been. That said, I am also here anytime if you have questions or need anything at all.

Mind-bending work.

Rob Gonsalves is a Canadian painter of magic realism with a unique perspective and style. He produces original works, limited edition prints and illustrations for his own books. Most of his stunning paintings have an unclear boundary between the multiple stories they tell, which forces the viewer to jump back and forth between them -- like an optical illusion that changes every time you look at it.

It is better to read from a printed book instead of an e-reader (like Kindle or iPad) before going to sleep.

Use of a light-emitting electronic device (LE-eBook) in the hours before bedtime can adversely impact overall health, alertness, and the circadian clock which synchronizes the daily rhythm of sleep to external environmental time cues. Researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) compared the biological effects of reading an LE-eBook to a printed book. The findings were published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences on December 22, 2014.
