Would like to thank everyone for their support for the "Not In Our City Forum!" Thank you to the committee members, volunteers, Ellis Care Board Members, God Parents, volunteers, sponsors, and the list goes on and on... Special shout out to Pastor Edwards and the United Believers Church.

Please know that this is a community event and that there will be action plans developed by leaders of the community, youth, and citizens within the South Kansas City area to address the areas of economics, violence, and voting.

Wow that was quick.. just received an inbox message asking how to begin purchasing items from Amazon Smile. The instructions are as follows: First go to http://smile.amazon. Second, find the item that you wish to purchase, Third click on that item, Fourth purchase said item, LASTLY... 5% of that item goes to the non profit of your choice that is affiliated with AMAZON SMILE!!!

The mission of Ellis Care Community Outreach (also known as Ellis Care) is to eradicate the negative effects that poverty has in our surrounding communities. Ellis Care can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from members of our community. Without these donations, serving those in our area would not be possible.

Currently Ellis Care are participants of the Amazon Smile Foundation. What is Amazon Smile Foundation you ask? Well I'm glad you ask. The Amazon Smile Foundation is a subsidiary of Amazon and gives 5% of purchases made to eligible charitable organizations. Ellis Care is excited to be one of those organizations! If you are like our family, we make many of our purchases through Amazon. Now when making purchases I go through Amazon Smile and make sure that 5% of that purchase goes towards Ellis Care! Truly!!! IT THAT SIMPLE!!!
